Carol Singley is author or editor of five books on the Pulitzer Prize-winning American novelist, Edith Wharton. She also is the author of a book on adoption and literature, Adopting America: Childhood, Kinship and National Identity in Literature, and is the editor of three books on American literature and Puritan culture, women’s fiction, and American childhood.
